I’m so excited about this chapter, you guys!  It’s my first time drawing the ocean in a semi-realistic way! (Atlantis scene doesn’t count because although it was techincally in the ocean it didn’t use nearly as many water effects.)

This chapter deals with overwhelming fear.  Drowning in the ocean is one of the most terrifying deaths I can imagine.  To me, nothing better represents feeling powerless and insignificant than being trapped in endless brine, watching helplessly as an enormous black wave swell up to crush and smother you.
